Swirly Goodness at LAX

Working on the design of this unique foodservice kiosk for Pinkberry franchise Branded Works was a true pleasure.  Special consideration was placed in the design of the space to meet spacial needs while achieving a modern yet playful anesthetic to compliment branding.  Pinkberry offers “a fun spin on traditional frozen yogurt, Pinkberry’s expansive topping bar includes everything from exotic fruits to classic candy bars, to complement a variety of signature tart flavors.”

We worked closely with Arktura  to develop a custom canopy design composed of a vivid organic cellular structure which was “constructed from uniquely formed planar surfaces and joined through 4,200 points of alignment, this structure demanded the creation of specialized algorithms and a revolutionary new manufacturing strategy. The result is a self-supporting canopy able to be prefabricated off site, shipped as a system and assembled in just a few days.”

RA is happy to include this eye-catching kiosk in our portfolio.   RA acted as the Project Coordinator for this Pinkberry which has been swirling at LAX since 2014.  If you are visiting LAX, please stop by Pinkberry at the new Tom Bradley Terminal.
